Start Date and Season Overview

The much-anticipated GO Battle League: Delightful Days is set to kick off on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM PDT (GMT -7). As the new season unfolds, trainers can expect several significant changes and new opportunities to earn rewards.

At the onset of this season, trainers should note that their GO Battle League rank will reset. This reset is a standard procedure at the beginning of each season, and rank-up requirements will remain consistent with those from the previous season. Additionally, end-of-season rewards will be accessible on the Battle screen, allowing players to claim their hard-earned prizes.

Season Schedule: League Dates

The Delightful Days season will feature a structured schedule that includes various leagues and cups, providing trainers with diverse battling experiences. Below is the timeline for each league and cup during the Delightful Days season:

  • June 3 – June 10: Great League and Sunshine Cup: Great League Edition
  • June 10 – June 17: Ultra League and Fossil Cup: Great League Edition
  • June 17 – June 24: Master League (with 4× Stardust from win rewards) and Summer Cup: Ultra League Edition
  • June 24 – July 1: Great League, Ultra League, and Master League (4× Stardust from win rewards)
  • July 1 – July 8: Great League and Element Cup: Little Edition
  • July 8 – July 15: Ultra League and Hisui Cup: Great League Edition
  • July 15 – July 22: Master League (4× Stardust from win rewards) and Sunshine Cup: Great League Edition
  • July 22 – July 29: Great League, Ultra League, and Master League (4× Stardust from win rewards)

Delightful Days GO Battle Weekend

Mark your calendars for the GO Battle Weekend from Friday, August 15, at 12:00 AM to Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 11:59 PM local time. This weekend will feature exciting bonuses such as:

  • A boost of 4× Stardust from win rewards (excluding end-of-set rewards).
  • An increase in the maximum number of sets you can play daily, jumping from five to twenty, allowing for a total of 100 battles.
  • Access to free battle-themed Timed Research that rewards trainers with avatar shoes inspired by a powerful Battle Tower competitor.
  • Pokémon encountered through GO Battle League rewards will exhibit a broader range of Attack, Defense, and HP.

Moreover, trainers can also encounter a selection of standard Pokémon during reward encounters throughout the season, including:

Timed Research Pass for Dedicated Trainers

For those trainers who are truly dedicated to battling, a special pass will be made available for free in the in-game shop once the Delightful Days season begins. This Timed Research will track your victories throughout the season. Each research page will require you to achieve 100 wins to complete it, rewarding you with Stardust and valuable items such as Rare Candy XL, an Elite Fast TM (at 400 wins), and an Elite Charged TM (at 500 wins). Stay committed throughout the season to maximize your rewards!

Avatar Items and Incentives

As part of the Delightful Days season, trainers can earn distinctive avatar items inspired by a formidable Battle Tower champion from Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. The items available at different ranks include:

  • Ace Rank: Battle Tower Leon–Style Boots
  • Veteran Rank: Battle Tower Leon–Style Pants
  • Expert Rank: Battle Tower Leon–Style Top
  • Legend Rank: Battle Tower Leon–Style Pose

Special Cups to Look Forward To

A variety of themed cups will also take place this season, each with unique entry requirements:

  1. Sunshine Cup: Great League Edition

    • Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP.
    • Eligible types: Normal, Fire, Grass, Ground.
    • Charizard is not permitted.
  2. Fossil Cup: Great League Edition

    • Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP.
    • Eligible types: Water, Rock, Steel.
  3. Summer Cup: Ultra League Edition

    • Pokémon must be at or below 2,500 CP.
    • Eligible types: Normal, Fire, Water, Grass, Electric, Bug.
  4. Element Cup: Little Edition

    • Pokémon must be at or below 500 CP.
    • Eligible types: Fire, Water, Grass.
    • Only Pokémon that can evolve and have not evolved even once are eligible.
  5. Hisui Cup: Great League Edition

    • Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP.
    • Only Pokémon first discovered in the Hisui region or with a Pokédex number from #387 to #493 are allowed.
  6. Catch Cup: Delightful Days: Great Edition
    • Pokémon must be at or below 1,500 CP.
    • Only Pokémon caught during the Delightful Days season are eligible (from June 3, 2025, to September 2, 2025).

Adjustments and Availability of Attacks

Throughout the Delightful Days season, several adjustments have been made to attacks to enhance gameplay. Various moves have seen changes to energy generation and power, optimizing the dynamics of battles. Notably, Pokémon such as Gholdengo and Lunala will now have access to new Charged and Fast Attacks, expanding their battle strategies.
