Exciting Details About July 2025’s Pokémon GO Community Day Featuring Quaxly

Prepare for an exhilarating experience during the July 2025 Community Day in Pokémon GO, where the charming Duckling Pokémon, Quaxly, will take center stage. This event is scheduled for July 20, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. Trainers everywhere are gearing up for a chance to catch Quaxly more frequently in the wild, and for the lucky ones, a Shiny Quaxly may just be waiting to be discovered.

As part of this special Community Day, evolving Quaxwell into Quaquaval before July 27, 2025, at 10:00 PM local time will reward players with a Pokémon that knows the powerful Charged Attack Hydro Cannon. This addition will enhance Quaquaval’s capabilities in battles, making it even more formidable.

Event Bonuses to Enhance Your Gameplay

The July Community Day is packed with fantastic bonuses that will enhance your Pokémon GO experience. Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Triple Stardust: Players will earn three times the normal amount of Stardust when catching Pokémon during the event.
  • Double Candy: Trainers will receive double the amount of Candy for every Pokémon caught, which is essential for powering up and evolving Pokémon.
  • Increased Candy XL: For Trainers at level 31 and above, there’s a doubled chance of receiving Candy XL from catches, providing an extra boost for Pokémon growth.
  • Extended Lure Modules: Any Lure Modules activated during this event will last for three hours, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM local time, allowing for an extended capturing spree.
  • Extended Incense Duration: Similar to Lure Modules, Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours as well.
  • Extra Special Trades: Trainers can make one additional Special Trade, bringing the total to three for the event day, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM local time.
  • Reduced Stardust for Trades: There will be a 50% reduction in Stardust costs for trades during the event, making it easier to swap Pokémon with fellow Trainers.

Research Opportunities Await

In addition to the event bonuses, Trainers will have various research tasks available during the Community Day. These include Field Research, Special Background Timed Research, and paid Community Day Special Research. Players can complete tasks that involve catching Quaxly to earn rewards, which may include Stardust, Great Balls, and additional encounters with the featured Pokémon.

The Community Day Special Research can be accessed for a nominal fee of US$1.99 (or the equivalent in your local currency). Completing this research will yield fantastic rewards, such as:

  • Three encounters with Quaxly, each featuring a Delightful Days-themed Special Background.
  • Additional encounters with Quaxly, increasing your chances of finding a Shiny variant.
  • One Premium Battle Pass to enhance your battle experience.
  • One Rare Candy XL for Pokémon leveling.

Moreover, during the Community Day, Trainers will receive free Timed Research upon logging in, culminating in an encounter with a Quaxly that features a Delightful Days-themed Special Background. This research will also provide an increased chance to encounter a Shiny Quaxly.

Community Day Timed Research and Evolving Quaxly

The fun doesn’t stop at the Community Day event itself. Trainers will have the opportunity to continue their adventures with Timed Research lasting for a week following the event. Log in during the July Community Day to gain access to tasks that award encounters with a Quaxly featuring the Special Background. Make sure to complete these tasks before the deadline of July 27, 2025, at 10:00 PM local time, to reap the rewards.

Don’t forget, after catching Quaxly during the event, you can evolve Quaxwell into Quaquaval to obtain the Charged Attack Hydro Cannon, making it a valuable asset in battles for days to come.
