“The Ogre’s Bride” originally started as a short story on the Novema web novel platform, which is run by Starts Publishing. The story was last updated on November 24, 2019, and received a complete rewrite on May 24, 2020. Following this, Starts Publishing released the first paperback volume on October 28, 2020. The manga adaptation began serialization on Starts Publishing’s online noicomi manga platform, with its first volume hitting the shelves on August 26, 2022, under the noicomi COMICS label. Additionally, the first volume of the sequel light novel series, “Oni no Hanayome: Newlyweds Arc,” was released on the same date.
